I had no idea there was a cruise terminal at the same site at the hotel! Certainly wasn't mentioned in the advertising/hotel write-up.ģ. 3-4 cruise ships were parked right out in front of our hotel at all times blocking the view and scaring away the fish we were hoping to see while snorkeling. I would have preferred to sleep in a little during my vacation but couldn't.Ģ. The hotel beach was tiny and there were insufficient chairs for guests so one had to get up by 7AM to claim some or you'd be out of luck. The Funtastic team is the absolute best I have ever seen, planning such fun activities that everyone should take advantage of! I am a picky person and have been more than happy staying here, still have another week to enjoy and it is just incredible! Stay here and relax, you will love it!ġ. If there is a food you prefer, just ask for it, and they do everything in their power to accommodate you! Alfredo, the server at The Veranda is superb, Elvis at the front desk is fabulous, the rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable and they provide a wonderful organic honey toiletry line for you to use during your stay. Someone came every evening and offered us items to stock the mini fridge and Andrea in housekeeping did an amazing job keeping the room sparkling!.Fantastic and beautiful place! A tropical paradise with a superb staff that strives to please! The Funtastic team is awesome, planning such fun activities and checking in to make sure you are happy! Please do not take the negative reviews seriously…this is Paradise and seeing the cruise ships are fun, they do not block the beautiful ocean and you can see it just fine, and even though the beach is smaller than some, there is plenty of room for everyone, fantastic snorkeling and delicious drinks. The fried ice cream there was THE BOMB! The entertainment at the below pool and beach kept my teenagers busy and happy and big shout outs to Jose, Janet, Michelle, Mariola and Genaro for keeping us all entertained from morning to night! The first night we were there a bottle of champagne and fruit bowl appeared in our room after we came back from dinner and a few nights later a bottle of Tequila arrived. The food was amazing as always! Highly recommend the taco restaurant, no reservations needed, and the Al Pastor tacos were delicious! We ate at all the restaurants and really enjoyed the new Thai restaurant.
We enjoyed this room even more than the ocean view from last year because of its location to everything and not having to use the elevator. We had a bottom floor room with a plunge pool and patio with lounge chairs and a table. Paola was efficient and kind and we were checked in quickly. We were greeted at the shuttle and escorted to the VIP check in and our room was ready well before the 3pm check in time. The first time was last year and it was so amazing that we came back again to enjoy the July 4th holiday. "This was the second time staying at this property.
